About
Who is behind US Duty Calc
Radif Partners
Independent publisher of a reference to US import duties: the tariff schedule, additional duties by origin, customs fees and freight measures, with free calculators
US Duty Calc is published by Radif Partners, a company that builds free reference tools on public rules. This one exists because the duty on a shipment no longer sits on one line of the tariff. It is the ordinary rate, plus layers that depend on the country of origin and on the product, each set by a separate notice. We read those notices and put the layers in one calculation.
What the site does
The calculator takes an HTS code, an origin and a value, and shows each duty that applies, customs fees and the landed cost. The lookup searches the whole schedule. The comparison puts the same goods side by side from different countries. Smaller tools handle cubic meters, volume weight, pallets and fees.
Where the facts come from
Tariff lines from the files of the US International Trade Commission; tariff actions from the Federal Register; fees and valuation rules from the Code of Federal Regulations; pallet measures from EPAL. When a source could not be read, the site says not verified. The method page gives the checks and the limits.
What we are not
We are not a government agency, a customs broker, a freight forwarder or a marketplace. We classify nothing, file nothing, quote no freight and refer no one to a provider.
How the site is paid for
Nothing is sold here, there is no affiliate link and no lead form. If advertising is added one day, it will never sit inside a tool, and it cannot use what you type, which never leaves your browser.
Tell us when something is wrong
Tariff actions change quickly. If a figure differs from the official text, write to contact@usdutycalc.com with the page. The editorial policy explains how a correction is made and dated. The site has 59 pages of tools and guides.
